Acceptable Use Policy
SaveMediaOnline is intended for lawful, responsible downloading. This policy describes uses that are not allowed and helps protect creators, users, platforms, and the service.
Use only content you may download
You may process content you created, content you own, public-domain material, or content you have clear permission to download. Public visibility alone does not remove copyright or other legal rights.
Prohibited uses
- Copyright infringement or unauthorized redistribution.
- Accessing private, restricted, paywalled, deleted, or non-public media without authorization.
- Circumventing digital rights management, authentication, technical protection, geographic restriction, or access controls.
- Downloading content to harass, exploit, impersonate, defame, or violate another person’s privacy.
- Submitting malicious URLs, malware, automated abusive traffic, or attempts to disrupt or reverse engineer the service.
- Using downloaded media for unlawful commercial activity or deceptive manipulation.
Platform rules still apply
Each third-party platform has its own terms and restrictions. You are responsible for complying with those rules in addition to applicable law and SaveMediaOnline’s Terms of Use.
Enforcement
We may limit or block requests, sources, sessions, or users associated with suspicious or prohibited activity. Serious matters may be preserved or disclosed where required by law. Repeated misuse can result in permanent restrictions.
Report misuse
If you believe the service is being used unlawfully, send a detailed report through our Contact page. Copyright complaints should follow the process in our Copyright and Takedown Policy.
